01 / Understand the current site
Review content, media, URLs, active features and the workflows behind them. Identify what must keep working and what can be retired.
02 / Agree the rebuild
Define the pages, design direction, editing needs and essential functionality. Flag anything that needs a bespoke replacement or provider configuration.
03 / Build on a clean foundation
Create the EmDash site, bring in reviewed content and suitable media, and rebuild the agreed features. Existing account credentials and plugin code are not carried across blindly.
04 / Test the important journeys
Review responsive layouts, editing, forms and private inbox access. Check URLs, redirects and indexing in a preview before switching the public domain.
05 / Launch deliberately
Make the reviewed cutover with preserved data and a recovery plan. Confirm the public site and agreed workflows on the live domain.
